Karitos '13 Is Coming...
"I have been wanting to see what happens when people operate in their passion, and from Saturday I can see Karitos happens!!!" Above is a quote from an attendee of the first Karitos Indy that was held this past May. Over 40 people crammed into the small office space that our friend had shared with us for the event. They each were worshiping God and learning more about the gifts that God had given them. You can read the entire article from that event for the details, and you will see that in one word it was "AWESOME". The presence of God was evident to the attendees and faculty. And all were filled with a taste of Karitos. Success. Over 20 people from the Indy area then traveled to Chicago in July to take part in the larger event, Karitos. It offered over 130 workshops in the areas of dance, film, theatre, signing, visual arts, worship, vocal and more. The worship was extravagant and the teaching by the first-time keynote speaker, Matt Tommey, was life-changing. So many of our companions had amazing experiences with the Lord - Looking Back at Karitos ‘12. We came away still saying, "sure, we had over 20 people from Indy, but so many more need to know about this amazing conference!" So, here we go again...Karitos Indy '13. With the blessing of the Karitos leadership, the next Karitos Indy will be in May with the location to be determined. We believe this event will be another "awesome" with perhaps a few "amazing" and "glorious" thrown in. God is opening so many doors and He is setting the stage for Indianapolis to build it's artist community. We are now searching for those that have a heart to join us! On Thursday, November 15th we will hold our first meeting for those that want to be a part of this new ministry to the community. It will be simple to participate. You just need to make a phone call and let God take of the rest. Below are the details to join our call from 7-9 pm. You may join us at any time. We hope to "see" you there!
