Evelyn was born and raised on the East side of Indianapolis and is a member of Downey Avenue Christian Church in Irvington, where she sings in the choir and teaches Sunday School. She holds a Master of Music degree in Voice from Indiana University and completed an apprenticeship with Dorian Opera Theater. Evelyn was a semi-finalist in the Bel Canto Foundation Italian Opera Competition in Chicago and has performed frequently with the Indianapolis Opera and as operatic soloist for L'Opera Ristorante in Noblesville. She teaches private voice in addition to working part-time as a financial assistant for Christ Church Cathedral here in Indianapolis. Evelyn is married and has two children.
Susannah has been in love with music ever since she climbed up to her Great Aunt Betty’s organ at the age of two. Her passion led her to performing in school musicals and choirs, as well as participation in competitions, college courses in Music Education and private vocal lessons. She currently is a vocalist with 1heart Praise Band, a member of her church choir and frequent soloist. During the weekdays, Susannah runs her administrative ministry, Kingdom Design, from her home office in Indianapolis. She and her husband, Zach, are Co-Founders of 1heart Arts Ministries and members of Southport Church of the Nazarene.
Starting in middle school, Janet has been hooked on the theatre arts. From that time on, she has performed, sung, and worked behind the scenes in schools, organizations, and churches throughout the U.S., England, and Germany. Janet received her bachelor’s degree in Theatre from the University of Indianapolis and for many years has led youth and adult drama groups, written sketches and designed stage lighting & sets. She has been married for 32 years to her “Mensa man”, Ron Drummond, and is the proud mother of her daughter Wynter, who has studied classical ballet since age six, was “Clara” in Butler Ballet’s 2004 The Nutcracker, and has won many awards for her dancing.
Kelly resides in New Whiteland with her husband David and two daughters (Zoe, 6 and Lucy, 3). She has been a member of Greenwood Christian Church since she moved to the Indianapolis area at the age of ten. Growing up, her house was always full of the arts. Kelly has been a part of Carmel Community Players, Tipton Players, and the Kokomo Community Theatre. Her favorite roes include "Lily" in the University of Indianapolis of Annie and "Elaine" in Tipton Players's Arsenic & Old Lace. She has been a number of other dramas, played piano and sung in various choirs.
Zachary T. Francis
Zachary has a heart and passion for reaching out to all people through the arts. As a young child, he was always acting, writing plays and behind a camera taping the lives around him. Zach is co-founder of 1heart Arts Ministries and has co-produced five of his original full-length dramas on stage, as well as a number of short skits and film projects. He is also the percussionist for 1heart Praise Band. When not in the midst of creating, Zachary works full-time as a microbiologist in Downtown Indy. He and his wife Susannah faithfully attend Southport Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis.
