"So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."
~ Ephesians 4:11-13
As Christians, we have a powerful tool here on earth that is too often not utilized. This is the Church, our brothers and sisters in Christ. Partnership among each other is so important in our growth; not only for encouragement, but also for what gifts we can share with each other. The Church is meant to work as an intricate system, strengthening, encouraging, and serving each other in order to glorify Christ. We at 1heart Arts have been blessed with some key gifts to assist in equipping our Christian brothers and sisters in the work of our Lord. We invite you to contribute your gifts to the Body of Christian artists here in the local community.
Encouragement - It doesn't take but a moment or two to see that Zach Francis was provided the spiritual gift of encouragement. God uses Zach's jovial and loving spirit to make each and every person feel right at home. It is the desire of 1heart Arts that your gifts are continually nurtured and encouraged in order to help them grow as indicated in the Scripture from Ephesians listed above.
Administration - God has blessed Zach's wife, Susannah, with the gift of administration. This has proven to be an invaluable asset to the ministry of arts, as artists as a whole tend to be more creative that administrative in nature. As an artist herself, God has uniquely equipped her to share creative passions while allowing her to channel both her gifts and those around her into working together as the Body.
3. Teaching - Zach and Susannah both have a gift for teaching, though they have two very different styles. Zach is much more of a study leader and great at speaking to large groups and audiences. Susannah has much more of a one-on-one teaching approach, which allows her to work well in teaching small groups and individuals. Leadership -Susannah and Zach have both been been blessed with the gifts of leadership. Once again, they approach this gift in two very different manners, but are effective together. They take their roles very seriously and are continually looking for opportunities to grow and learn in this area.
4. Shepherding - Neither Zach or Susannah are ordained ministers currently. However, many in pastoral leadership have termed them as "shepherds" to those around them. Leading people to a closer walk with the Lord is their number one priority and it is shown in each and every ministry they are involved in leading. Whether it be devotion, prayer, Bible study, worship or just speaking one-on-one, they look to invite Christ into the situation and nurture the gifts of others into working together as the Body that He intended.
5. Gifts that Others Bring - God has so richly blessed us with people within our ministry that have a great number of those gifts listed above and others to lend to the ministry. God is always adding to our number, providing a more balanced and solid foundation for us to grow. We would love for you to lend your gifts as well!
